DTEK Donetsk Grids continues restoration activities: electricity has been restored to almost 2,000 households
Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored service to 5 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 1,969 households.
Donetsk region remains an arena of active fighting. Yesterday, the region was hit by several missile strikes. In the night and in the morning, the enemy continued to shell various areas of the front - informs head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko.
101 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 303 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
The situation in the energy system remains difficult, thus emergency power cutoffs are ongoing in the Donetsk region in accordance with the NPC Ukrenergo order. This is a necessary step to stabilize the energy system and prevent new outages. The schedules of stabilization shutdowns are no longer valid. We also urge all customers to consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices in turn and minimize electricity consumption from 06.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 23.00 in the evening. We ask business customers to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls.
