DTEK Donetsk Grids continues to restore electricity: power was restored to almost 68,000 households over the week
Last week, despite shelling, missile strikes and air assaults, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore power to 104 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 67,947 families in the Donetsk region.
For instance, yesterday energy workers managed to restore electricity to homes of residents of 5 settlements, thus restoring power to 1,815 families in Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts.
Active hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. 92 settlements remain without electricity, as energy workers do not have a permit for works performance from the military and are unable to work there. The most difficult directions are Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
