DTEK Donetsk Grids restores power in the Old Town of Mariupol
“DTEK serves the Ukraine’s interests, takes care of its customers and does the best to ensure that their homes always have lights on, warmth and comfort. We recognize how important it is to restore the power supply to customers as soon as possible, especially during the New Year and Christmas holidays,” said Oleksii Degtyarev, Head of DTEK Donetsk Grids. “Our people have already identified the failure spot and started restoration. We are planning to complete this job today by 5:00PM."
There were no power in several streets in the Old Town, such as Meliorativnaya, Bondarny, Rybatsky, Khimichesky lanes. Italian, Rybatska, Gavannaya, Zheleznodorozhna, Zemskaya, Donetsk, Domakhi, Linnik, Pervaya Slobodka, Vtoraya Slobodka, Torhova, Vokzalnaya, Hrecheska, Georgievskaya, Podgornaya, Prospekt Mira had no power partially.
Let us recall that the energy workers were busy 24x7 the entire New Year’s holiday season restoring power supply that went out aftermath of bad weather. In Mariupol, the company restored the operation of 205 transformer substations, and 14 power lines. Thus, more than 28,000 customers had their lights on at home.
Now the company is fulfilling the requests submitted by residents.
