DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 31,000 families over the course of a week

Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to access a number of sites of grids and equipment damage and conduct repairs. Thus, electricity has been restored to homes of residents of 70 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, restoring power to more than 31,000 families in the Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Last week, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 70 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 31,551 families in the frontline Donetsk region.

In particular, yesterday energy workers have restored electricity to almost 500 families in 4 settlements.

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy conducts offensive activities on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

The situation in the region remains very difficult. Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure.

98 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
