DTEK Donetsk Grids restored service to all residents of the frontline villages of Travneve and Gladosovo
The 6 kV line was damaged on July 22. Since this line is in the gray zone, it was required to get an additional coordination with the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination on Ceasefire Issues), and involve the representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the OSCE to do the restoration work.
“As soon as the company received all the necessary approvals, our energy workers immediately started restoration of power supply. We have repaired damaged sections of the line, replaced insulators. This made it possible to restore the operation of four transformer substations and return electricity to 68 households in Travnevoy and Gladosovo,” says Oleksii Degtyarev, CEO of DTEK Donetsk Grids.
DTEK Donetsk Grids serves the Ukraine’s interests, shares the values of our community, and understands that permanent and uninterrupted power supply is a key to comfort of people in the region. In 2021, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power supply for more than a thousand residents of 9 frontline settlements.
As a reminder, in May, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored the operation of the 35 kV Shcherbinovka - Podyem-3 overhead line, damaged because of hostilities, and returned electricity to 660 households in the Druzhba and Ozaryanovka villages. In June, the company restored the operation of the 10 kV line and returned electricity to 37 households in the front-line village of Opytne.
