DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to almost 4,000 families over the course of a day

On December 8, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to one settlement in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to hostilities, thus restoring electricity to almost 4,000 families. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately, once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Despite shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have restored power to residents of one settlement, thus restoring electricity to 3,981 families over the course of a day.

According to the head of the Donetsk region Pavlo Kyrylenko, at night the enemy continued shelling of central and northern districts of the region.

95 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 289 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
