DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to homes of 5,700 families

On March 30-31, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to 8 settlements, de-energized due to hostilities, thus restoring electricity to 5,700 families in the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to promptly restore power to the frontline region once it becomes possible in order to help residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities and winter cold.

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 8 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of 5,734 families. 

Due to constant hostilities, 111 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 402 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
