DTEK Donetsk Grids restores power supply in Kramatorsk

Rapid deterioration in weather conditions entailing downpour, stormy wind, falling trees caused damage to lines and electrical equipment in Kramatorsk. DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power supply to 128 transformer substations and 10 power lines within 24 hours. And this is more than 27,000 inhabitants.

First, the energy workers restored power supply in medical centers. Also, the priority was given to the repair of high-voltage lines supplying most of the customers. All planned repairs have been canceled, the company's energy workers are solely eliminating the consequences that have brought downstorms, heavy wind and hail. DTEK Donetsk Grids teams have been put on full alert and are working 24/7 to restore damaged sections of lines and electrical equipment as soon as possible.

DTEK serves the interests of Ukraine, takes care of its customers and does everything to ensure that their homes always have lights on and comfort. We have restored power supply for more than 27,000 of our customers in Kramatorsk. Additional teams were involved in the emergency recovery work. Now our workers are restoring power supply for 3 more transformer substations and 3 high-voltage power lines. We are making every effort to restore the power supply as soon as possible,” says Oleksiy Degtyarev, CEO of DTEK Donetsk Grids.

Also, the company is fulfilling 200 requests from customers living in the detached house suburbs. The company involved special equipment in the emergency recovery work - 3 car lifts, a mobile electrical laboratory. The remedial work will continue until the power supply is fully restored.

  • In case of strong wind, you should not be near power lines;
  • Do not approach broken wires closer than 8-12 meters and in no case touch it;
