“Ever since the onset of bad weather, our specialists have restored power supply for residents of 48 settlements, reconnected 536 transformer substations and distribution points, 36 power lines. It’s worth noting that it was quite challenging to do the recovery work because of weather conditions. Today, the company's specialists are fulfilling the customers’ requests,” says Oleksii Degtyarev, Director General for DTEK Donetsk Grids. "DTEK serves the Ukraine’s interests, takes care of its customers and does everything to ensure that their homes always have lights on and comfort."

As reported, the stormy wind that raged in the Donetsk region for several days, entailed a number of damages to the energy infrastructure of the region. Fallen trees and broken branches not only broke the wires, but also damaged several poles.

Yellow, hazard level 1* was declared in region.
