DTEK Donetsk Grids returned power to Nevelske front-line village that lost power after hostilities
The 0.4 kV line was damaged on July 3. Since it is in the gray zone, it was required to get additional coordination with the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination on Ceasefire Issues) and involve representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the OSCE to do the reconstruction work.
“As soon as the company received all the necessary approvals, our specialists immediately started restoration of power supply. We repaired broken wires in four spans of the 0.4 kV line, replaced six insulators, and installed a new power transformer. We returned power to 47 households in the Nevelskoye settlement,” says Oleksiy Degtyarev, General Director at DTEK Donetsk Grids.
Also, the company's energy workers restored the operation of the 6 kV line, which provides backup power to the village of Novoluhanskoye in the Bakhmutsky district.
