Our employees returned the light to 71 localities affected by bad weather. And this counts 12 thousand inhabitants. 25 field teams were involved in the emergency recovery work. We are still processing requests, - says Oleksii Degtyarev, DTEK Donetsk Grids CEO. "The reliability of power supply and the comfort of our customers is our prime goal."

Strong winds, sleet and rain caused a number of blackouts across Donetsk Region. Towns in Velikonovoselkovsky, Aleksandrovsky, Maryinsky, Volnovakhsky, Bakhmutsky, and Mangushsky Districts were affected the most.

DTEK Donetsk Grids serves the interests of Ukraine, shares the values of society and understands that permanent and uninterrupted power supply is essential for the safety and comfort of the region's people.

DTEK Donetsk Grids reminds of the need to comply with electrical safety rules:

  • In case of strong wind, do not stay near power lines;
  • Do not approach the broken wire closer than 8-12 meters, and in no case touch it;
