DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to more than 7,000 households in 11 settlements over the course of a day

On February 20, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored power to 11 settlements, de-energized due to hostilities, thus restoring access to electricity for more than 7,000 households. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the Donetsk region, despite the difficult situation with shelling.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored electricity to residents of 11 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 7,460 households. 

Massive shelling is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy concentrates main efforts on conducting an offensive in Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions in the areas of Nevske, Bakhmut, Novobakhmutivka, Vodiane and Marinka. 

Due to constant shelling, 110 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 363 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
