DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to more than 10,000 families in 5 settlements of the Donetsk region

On September 21, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore electricity to homes of residents of 5 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to more than 10,000 households in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts. Energy workers are doing their best to restore electricity to homes of residents of the Donetsk region and support them in this difficult situation.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 5 settlements in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts of the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 10,287 families.

Yesterday, like the day before, the majority of restorations were carried out in Bakhmut district, which is an arena of active hostilities, as Bakhmut is one of the main directions of the enemy’s offensive. Some settlements of the district are located very close to the buffer zone. Here, energy workers were able to restore power to 9,000 families in Bakhmut community and over 300 families in Toretsk community. Additionally, electricity has been restored to more than 900 families in Marinka community, where they manage to perform repairs for a second day in a row. Specialists of the energy company also managed to work in Kostiantynivka community.

Hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. The most difficult directions remain Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk and Marinka.

108 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
