DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to more than 14,000 families over the course of a day

On January 23, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to residents of 10 settlements, affected by hostilities, thus restoring electricity to more than 14,000 families. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Despite shelling and missile strikes, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 10 settlements over the course of a day, thus restoring electricity to homes of 14,261 families in the frontline Donetsk region.

Activity of hostilities in the Donetsk region does not subside. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to conduct its offensive in Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions. Moreover, the Defense Forces have repelled enemy attacks near 10 settlements of the Donetsk region.

101 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 335 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
