DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to more than 60,000 families in the Donetsk region over the course of a week

From December 19 to 24, despite shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to restore power to residents of 61 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 60,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities and winter cold.

Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to 61 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring service to 61,410 families.

Moreover, yesterday energy workers managed have conducted repairs and restored power to 7,000 families in 8 settlements.

Hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. Massive artillery shelling, missile strikes and air assaults continue. The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. The enemy continues shelling of the entire frontline. According to the Ministry of Defense, yesterday enemy attacks were repelled near 11 settlements of the Donetsk region.

96 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 306 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
