DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to 2,500 families

On March 10, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to access a number of sites of grids and equipment damage and repair it, thus restoring power to almost 2,500 households in 11 settlements of the Donetsk region, affected by shelling. Energy workers commence restoration activities immediately after obtaining permission from the military and sappers in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Despite the difficult situation in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 2,457 families in 11 settlements yesterday.

Donetsk region remains an arena of heavy fighting.

Due to hostilities, 106 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 381 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
