The capital’s electric engineers will mount 3,000 two-zone electricity meters in Kyivans’ homes. The Company has named the addresses of houses where relevant works will be carried out. The clients will receive modern meters allowing to save money on electricity bills. The funds for their installation are allocated within the Company’s investment program, meaning the city dwellers will get their new meters absolutely free-of-charge.

In Ukraine, household clients have an opportunity of benefiting from the two-zone tariff for the electricity. According to it, the daytime (7 am to 11 pm) price for kilowatts is as follows: up to 100 kWh – 0.9 UAH/kWh, and beyond 100 kWh – 1.68 UAH/kWh; while at night (11 pm to 7 am) the tariff is twice as low: up to 100 kWh – 0.45 UAH/kWh, and beyond 100 kWh — 0.84 UAH/kWh.

According to our specialists’ estimations, the two-zone (day/night) tariff provides, in average, 10% to 25% of monthly saving on electricity bills. Being a responsible and reliable company, DTEK cares about its clients and consistently creates comfortable conditions for using the electricity for them,” Director of Customer Relations of DTEK Kyiv Grids Yuriy Kolomiychuk noted.

Nowadays, the head of the Company’s customer direction goes on, there are already 185 thousand meters operating in Kyiv that can be adjusted to the two-zone saving tariff. Their number is going to increase by 15% by the end of the year.

The free replacement of meters is being carried out in line with the national regulator (NERC) approved program. Specifically, the new meters will be received for free by Kyivans with the following addresses:
