DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids has prepared TOP-3 ways to find out what caused power outage in the building and when power will be restored

DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids has prepared a list of TOP-3 ways to inform, via telephone or internet, about problems with electricity or obtain information about time, required to restore power. Convenient services will help quickly restore electricity to customers and inform them about the cause of power outage.

For the duration of martial law, the company has to close section of its website, containing information about emergency power outages in the Kyiv region. This requirement of the government is to ensure safety of citizens and critical infrastructure. Nevertheless, customers still have a wide selection of other ways to contact the company with regard to power supply. In particular:

  • Viber and Telegram chatbots, where they can inform about lack of power supply and find out about timing of power restoration;
  • DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids Facebook page, where they can send a private message to submit a request about lack of current or get required support;
  • By calling +38 (044)4590740, (067)4957040, (099)4957040, (093)4957040, customers can submit an inquiry and obtain information about problems with power supply; additionally, Merezhi Online mobile application can be installed in the telephone from AppStore and Google Play Market. It can be used to inform about power outage;

DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids note that before informing about the problem with power supply, customers should first find out exactly where the power was lost. If it is only one apartment or private house, then the issue is within the responsibility of its owner. If power was lost in some apartments of a multi-story apartment building, then the customer should contact servicing company (condominium association, homeowners’ association, etc.), as maintenance and repair of the in-house grids is within their responsibility.

If power was lost in the entire multi-story apartment building, in several buildings or in the entire neighborhood, then DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids will be dealing with power restoration. Distribution System Operator is the one responsible for power supply to the customers’ homes. Company’s specialists will immediately set off to the site of accident, find out the cause of the power outage and restore power to buildings as soon as possible or will help servicing companies do it, if the problems will be in their grids.

We are working 24/7 to ensure reliable power supply of houses and enterprises.
