Damage of energy infrastructure facilities in Kyiv and Kyiv region creates power shortage in the energy system that may cause large-scale accidents. As of 16.16 October 11, power supply to some customers in the Kyiv region is temporarily limited by the order of the state power company NPC Ukrenergo. Power cutoff will take place before 18:00.

In order to prevent large-scale power outages and ensure electricity supply to residents of the Kyiv region, the company has developed special schedules of alternate power supply. They are applied in accordance with the order of the state company NPC Ukrenergo and only in case of emergency imbalance of the energy system.

In the current difficult situation, we have divided all addresses of the region into 2 lines and we will be limiting electricity supply alternately, for your convenience. Power cutoffs will not exceed 4 hours. If there will be a further need for stabilization of the energy system, the next line will be cut off.

  • 1 line – 6.00-10.00, 14.00-18.00 and 22.00-02.00;
  • 2 line – 10.00-14.00, 18.00-22.00 and 02.00-06.00;

First baseline schedules are posted on the website and in the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids social networks for the customers of the company to be able to plan their use of electrical appliances.

If your settlement is included in both lines – do not worry, it means that power cutoff will cover different streets. While the duration of power cutoff for a specific street will not exceed 4 hours. Posted schedules will soon have more details related to specific streets. Please follow company’s website and social networks for updates.

We ask customers not to switch on powerful electrical appliances (washing machines, boilers, air conditioners, electric kettles, etc.) during morning and evening consumption peaks from 7:00 to 11:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00.

Stay safe and watch for air alerts!

Everything will be Ukraine!
