DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids is one of the top three leaders in connecting home solar power plants

According to the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, Ukrainians installed 8,000 solar home power plants in 2020. In total, 30,000 families have such PV panels in Ukraine. Kyiv Region is one of the three leading regions, where the largest number of home solar power plants is located. Therefore, there are 4,017 PV systems in Dnipropetrovsk Region, 2,512 in Ternopil Region, and 2,344 in Kyiv Region.
The company highlights that there is consistently high demand for connecting small-scale distributed generation to the infrastructure of the regional power grids. Among the top three green energy producers:
- There are 376 home solar systems in the Buchansky District;
- There are 305 home solar systems in the Brovarsky District;
- There are 248 home solar systems in the Boryspil District;
