DTEK Odessa Grids energy workers were awarded for their work during the war and their aid in restoration of the electrical infrastructure of Ukrzaliznytsia
DTEK Odessa Grids is a reliable partner of the society. That is why, after enemy shelling of the infrastructure facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia in May of this year and, consequently, destabilization of the railroad operation, energy workers volunteered to help railwaymen restore operation of electrical equipment.
Specialists from the DTEK Odessa Grids relay protection maintenance center, who connected one of substations that ensures movement of cargo trains in the Ternopil direction, received awards and gratitude from the railwaymen.
“Our crews’ assistance in restoration of Ukrzaliznytsia electrical infrastructure, destroyed by enemy shelling, is an example of consolidation of efforts of all Ukrainians’ for the sake of victory. We all became one powerful team, which restores electricity to enable doctors save lives, business – work, Ukrainians – be in touch with relatives and close ones and move throughout the country and abroad,” – told DTEK Odessa Grids representative.
Let us recall that in April-May 2022, DTEK Odessa Grids crews also took part in restoration of the grids in the Kyiv region that were destroyed due to hostilities during enemy attack on towns and villages of the region.
All this time, DTEK Odessa Grids energy workers continued to ensure stable operation of electrical infrastructure of the Odessa region, despite the threat of air assaults or potential shelling. For courage and professionalism and on the occasion of 17th anniversary of DTEK, Odessa energy workers were also awarded certificates and gratitude.
