DTEK promptly restored electricity to more than 8,000 families, left without electricity due to shelling in the Kyiv region on June 1
On June 01, enemy shelling has damaged power lines, causing power outage in 24 settlements of Obukhiv district in the Kyiv region. DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids emergency and restoration crews went to eliminate the accident immediately after obtaining a permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Territorial Defense Forces. In two hours, electricians have restored electricity to 8,781 families.
On May 18, DTEK energy workers have completed repair of company’s equipment and restored electricity to the residents of districts that suffered from occupation. Energy workers are now completing individual connection of customers, who return to their homes or who have repaired their internal networks.
During martial law, all DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids repair crews are transferred to the emergency response and restoration operating mode and are ready to promptly restore electricity during power outages. Employees also have specific guidelines related to working in emergencies and are provided with everything needed to restore operation of equipment in case of damage, caused by hostilities.
