The Innovation DTEK team is bringing new technologies closer to DTEK employees. One of such ways is physical space, where innovative technologies are presented. The Technology room is a demonstrative and experimental platform, where every DTEK employee can learn about and test new world-class technologies that are being introduced into DTEK's business.

“The new Technology room in Dnipro will give an opportunity to show in practice how the new exponential and breakthrough technologies that we use in pilot projects and introduce into business help to bring the company closer to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and decarbonization, and make the processes safer, more environmentally friendly and more efficient”, says Emanuele Volpe, Chief Innovation Officer at DTEK.

The company says that there will be workshops and meetings held in the tech room for those interested in technologies on a regular basis.

“We are very pleased with the opening of the Technology room in Dnipro. I am sure that such a demonstration of the most advanced technologies will become an additional incentive for employees and help generate new bright and creative ideas that will improve our service for customers,” says Andrii Tereshchuk, Director General at DTEK Dnipro Grids.

The grand opening was accompanied by practical workshops on 3D scanning, 3D printing, unmanned vehicles (drones) and XR (AR/VR/MR) technologies.
