120 DTEK Dnipro Grids crews were engaged in prompt elimination of emergencies on the grid caused by bad weather. Energy workers put maximum efforts to restore electricity to every home as soon as possible. Emergency repairs on the lines and equipment were conducted immediately upon detection of new outages during bad weather. By the afternoon of July 28, power has been restored to more than 79,000 families. The next day, electricity has been restored to another 31,000 customers.

Gusty winds, storm front and lightning with heavy rain caused widespread falling of trees that destroyed poles and broke wires of the power lines.

For three days, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers have been eliminating consequences of bad weather. Emergencies on the high-voltage grids are now completely eliminated. As of the morning of July 30, 6 10 kv lines remain damaged, over 500 customers remain without electricity.

Energy workers plan to complete restoration activities on the 10 kV lines by the end of the day today. Work on the 0.4 kV lines as per the specific customer requests will follow.

The meteorologists do not forecast any precipitations in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day.
