DTEK brings back light: in August, energy workers have restored electricity supply to 77,600 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region

Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored power to 77,600 homes that were without electricity due to the damage of lines and power facilities by shelling. Specialists commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, DTEK energy workers have restored power to more than 1 mln* families in the region.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer missile strikes and regular shelling of its southern districts, bordering the area of hostilitiesю This constantly affects the grids and leaves thousands of residents without electricity.  

Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists have restored power to 77,618 families in the region that were left without electricity due to enemy attacks. 

Last week alone, energy workers have restored electricity after shelling to 68,000 households.  

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to 1 mln* homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
