DTEK brings back light: energy workers have restored electricity supply to 44,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region in September

Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored power to 44,000 homes that were without electricity due to the damage of lines and power facilities by shelling. Specialists commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, DTEK energy workers have restored power to more than 1.1 mln* families in the region.

South of the Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy attacks that frequently affect the grids and leave thousands of residents without electricity.  

In September, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 44,072 families in the region that were left without electricity due to hostilities. 

Last week alone, energy workers have restored electricity after shelling to 12,000 households.  

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to 1.1 mln* homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
