DTEK brings back light: energy workers restored power to 30,000 families over the week
Another missile attack on Kyiv in the night of June 24 has damaged an overhead power line. Due to the falling debris, some residents of Podil and Troieshchyna were left without electricity. In two hours, energy workers have restored electricity to more than 4,000 families via backup circuits and restored normal operation of the line later that day.
Settlements in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions are being shelled by rf on a daily basis, causing damage to power lines. Our specialists restore operation of power equipment in the high-risk conditions. Over the week, DTEK Grids energy workers have restored electricity to more than 25,000 families in the Donetsk region and almost 700 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“Our specialists’ primary task is to provide Ukrainians with electricity as much as it is possible in conditions of increased risks. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, we have restored electricity to 8 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted DTEK Grids CEO Oleksandr Fomenko.
DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They will restore electricity supply to all residents of the Donetsk region immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
