DTEK continues restoration: electricity restored to almost 2,000 families in the Donetsk region

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore operation of equipment and lines in 8 settlements of the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to almost 2,000 families. Energy workers continue to perform power restoration activities in the region as soon as it becomes possible.

Active hostilities are underway. The situation in the region remains extremely difficult. Nevertheless, on May 26, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 8 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 1,746 families in Bakhmut, Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk districts.

311 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity due to shelling. The most difficult situation remains near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where active hostilities and constant shelling frequently damage power lines.
