DTEK continues restoration activities in the Donetsk region: electricity was restored to 9,200 households
On July 26, despite shelling DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to completely or partially restore power to 9 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 9,286 households in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts.
The majority of restorations were in Bakhmut community that suffers from constant shelling. Here, energy workers have once again restored electricity to 6,700 households. Additionally, they were able to restore power to 2,400 households in Sloviansk community. Energy workers were also working in Toretsk community. It took energy workers less than 24 hours to restore electricity to all of them.
Large-scale hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. 321 settlements of the region remain without electricity. The most difficult directions are Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers have to wait for a permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to commence repairs.
