DTEK promptly restored electricity for 4,300 families living in Borshchahivka district in Kyiv
On March 23, at 00:54, due to the damage to the power line as a result of hostilities, 47 apartment buildings and 50 private houses in the Borshchahivka residential area of Kyiv were cut off from electricity. DTEK Kyiv Grids emergency and recovery crews immediately arrived to eliminate the accident, as soon as they received permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense. At 04:15 power engineers connected all houses to the backup power supply. In total, the electricity was restored to 4,332 families. Repair works are currently underway to repair the damaged line.
DTEK's power engineers, together with doctors, volunteers, suppliers of essential food and medicine, do everything in their power to support the country during this difficult time. 25 emergency crews have been working continuously for 28 days to repair the capital's networks and fulfill emergency requests from the customers.
