DTEK promptly restores electricity supply to 300 buildings in the capital city of Kyiv that were cut off from electricity due to hostilities and to 24 houses in Pushchia Vodytsia

Over the past 24 hours, DTEK Kyiv Grids emergency crews promptly restored electricity to 300 multistorey and private houses that were cut off from electricity in the Vynohradar district of the capital due to hostilities. On the same day, at the request of the State Emergency Service, DTEK's emergency crews promptly cut off electricity in two buildings in Sviatoshynskyi district and 1 building in Podilskyi district to extinguish the fire due to shelling. Electricity supply to 24 private houses in Pushchia Vodytsia has also been restored. Emergency recovery works continue if there are relevant permits from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense.

On March 15, at 4 pm, the Brest-Litovska substation was cut off from the power supply due to the damage to power lines as a result of hostilities. 100 apartment buildings and 200 private houses in the Vynohradar district were left without electricity. DTEK Kyiv Grids emergency and recovery crews promptly left for the accident site and restored the power supply to all buildings at 5 pm.

Also on March 15, at the request of the State Emergency Service, DTEK electricians promptly disconnected 2 houses in the Sviatoshynskyi district and 1 building in the Podilskyi district in Kyiv from the power supply to extinguish the fire due to shelling.

At 4.30 pm on the same day, the power supply was restored for 24 private houses in Pushchia Vodytsia, which probably were cut off from the power supply due to shelling. In agreement with the Territorial Defense and under their supervision, DTEK's emergency crews restored the power supply to the buildings.

The company cooperates with the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine to gain access to the sites of damage.
