DTEK restored electricity for 8 000 families in 39 settlements in the Kyiv region
On March 21, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids emergency crews fully or partially restored the power supply in 39 settlements in the Kyiv region: Vyshhorodskyi, Kyiv-Sviatoshynskyi, Brovarskyi, Boryspilskyi, Vasylkivskyi, Baryshivskyi, Makarivskyi districts. The fightings in these areas do not stop, so power engineers have to repair the destroyed power networks almost every day.
In total, DTEK's electricians have restored electricity supply for 8,009 families in the Kyiv region over the past 24 hours.
The company cooperates with the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine to gain access to the sites of damage. DTEK's power engineers, together with doctors, volunteers, suppliers of essential food and medicine, do everything in their power to support the country during this difficult time.
Residents of 489 settlements in the Kyiv region are left without electricity. The situation is complicated by active hostilities. Thirty emergency crews have been working continuously for 27 days to promptly restore power supply to settlements in the Kyiv region affected by the fighting.
