DTEK restores electricity: electricity restored to almost 10,000 families in 3 districts of the Donetsk region
On August 26, DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to completely or partially restore power to 14 settlements in Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts, thus restoring electricity to homes of 9,999 families in the Donetsk region.
For instance, company’s energy workers managed to restore electricity to more than 4,545 families in Toretsk community and another 2,546 families in Bakhmut community, despite continuous shelling of the region. They also performed repairs for 1,973 households in Sloviansk community.
Yesterday, specialists of the energy company were also working in Avdiivka and Marinka territorial communities that are being constantly shelled, as well.
Destruction of energy infrastructure in the region continues. The most difficult directions remain Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut.
87 settlements remain without electricity due to active hostilities and energy workers not having a permit for work performance. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 185 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
