DTEK restored electricity to 5,300 families in the Donetsk region, left without it due to shelling
Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored electricity to residents of 15 settlements, thus restoring power to 5,362 families in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Volnovakha districts.
Yesterday, specialists of the energy company carried out most of the restorations in Selydove community, restoring electricity to 3,200 households. Despite difficult situation, energy workers were also working in Marinka, Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka communities.
Fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Constant shelling, missile and air strikes cause large-scale damage to grids and equipment. 364 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is in the directions of Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers have to wait for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to commence repairs.
