Thermal power generation26 February 2023
Over the course of a day, February 25, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have restored power to one settlement in the Dnipropetrovsk region, shelled from the occupied territories the day before, thus restoring electricity to homes of 2,380 families. Despite shelling and difficult situation with hostilities, specialists continue to repair grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy shelling that regularly damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. Despite constant threat, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews continue to repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything to restore electricity as soon as possible. The work is conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from the SES and the AFU.

Yesterday, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 2,380 families in one settlement of the Dnipropetrovsk region that was de-energized due to shelling the day before.

The situation in the energy system remains difficult. We ask all customers to support energy workers in their fight on the energy front by consuming electricity responsibly – switching on energy-consuming appliances in turn and minimizing electricity consumption during peak load hours from 07.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 22.00 in the evening.
