DTEK restored service to 7,000 more families: energy workers continue restoring service to the liberated areas of the Kyiv region

On April 25, DTEK emergency and restoration crews have restored power to 7,216 families in the Kyiv region, left without electricity due to damage of lines, caused by hostilities. DTEK electricians continue restoring grids in districts of the Kyiv region immediately after mine clearance of the territories.

On April 25, DTEK electricians have restored service to 7,216 homes. Power was partially restored to Irpin, Hostomel, Bucha, Nemishaieve, Myrotske and Blystavytsia in the Bucha district, Berezivka in the Makariv community of the Bucha district, Dymer, Huta Mezhyhirska and Lugovyky in the Vyshhorod district, Lubianka in the Borodianka district and Iablunivka in the Makariv district.

Since Ukrainian military liberated Kyiv region from russian invaders, energy workers have restored electricity to more than 99,000 families in the Kyiv region. 43,000 households in more than 90 settlements remain without electricity. Energy workers plan to restore service to all residents of the Kyiv region by June 1.

In particular, on April 26, DTEK energy workers plan to perform power restoration activities in 19 settlements of Bucha and Vyshhorod districts. Additionally, restoration of electricity as per requests of consumers, returning to their homes in the liberated areas, is underway.

Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv are helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region. Electricians start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories by the Ukrainian military and after provision of a permit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, required to access damaged sites.

Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 62 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities. DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.
