DTEK restored electricity to more than 7,000 families in the Odessa region that were left without electricity due to shelling
On May 13, DTEK Odessa Grids energy workers have completed power restoration activities at the territory of the Odessa region, left without electricity due to missile strikes on May 8. Yesterday, energy workers have restored service to 7,401 of 21,000 homes, left without electricity.
Over the course of a week, DTEK Odessa Grids electricians have been repairing company’s grids 24/7 in order to restore electricity to all consumers as soon as possible. 84 workers and 24 pieces of machinery were involved in restoration of the grids.
The company cooperates with the Territorial Defense Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to access the damaged sites. Additionally, employees have specific guidelines related to working in emergencies and are provided with everything needed to restore operation of equipment in case of hostilities upon obtaining permits from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
