DTEK restored service to residents of 7 settlements in the Donetsk region

On April 16, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 7 settlements in the Donetsk region, left without electricity due to hostilities. Service is restored to 1,300 families. Energy workers cooperate with the AFU and continue performing emergency and restoration activities in the region, once the crews are enabled to safely perform them.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and restoration crews have energized 7 settlements in Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts of the Donetsk region, despite active hostilities in the region. Service is restored to 1,360 families.

200 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is in Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Lyman directions, where grids and substations are being constantly damaged due to active military activities. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces in order to perform repair of lines.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 53 days in a row and are doing everything possible in order to promptly restore power to settlements, affected by hostilities.
