DTEK restored electricity to 32 settlements: service is restored to more than 16,000 families in the Donetsk region

On May 10, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore power to 32 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring service to homes of more than 16,000 families. Active hostilities are underway in the region and the energy company continues restoring power supply in the Donetsk region, as soon as it becomes possible.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 32 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring service to homes of 16,748 families in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and most of all Kramatorsk districts.

Currently, 258 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity due to constant shelling. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where active hostilities are underway, frequently causing damage to electrical equipment and power transmission lines. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repairs.
