DTEK restored electricity to 32 settlements: service is restored to more than 16,000 families in the Donetsk region
Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 32 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring service to homes of 16,748 families in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and most of all Kramatorsk districts.
Currently, 258 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity due to constant shelling. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where active hostilities are underway, frequently causing damage to electrical equipment and power transmission lines. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repairs.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 77 days in a row and are doing everything possible in order to promptly restore power to settlements, affected by hostilities.
