Over the course of a day, DTEK has restored electricity to more than 4,000 families

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to access some sites of damaged grids and repair them, thus restoring electricity to 4,295 families in 14 settlements of Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts.

For example, energy workers were able to restore electricity to more than 3,000 families of residents of Sloviansk that suffer from extremely heavy shelling, caused by proximity of hostilities to the city.

Hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. The situation here remains very complicated. Grids and equipment are being constantly destroyed. Energy enterprises are shutting down. Considering an extremely difficult situation in the region and constant large-scale damage to energy infrastructure, we ask our customers to treat the situation with understanding.

318 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is in the areas of Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers have to wait for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to commence repairs.
