DTEK restored electricity to more than 7,000 families in 14 settlements
On May 9, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore power to 14 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring service to homes of 7,188 families in Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts.
269 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. Active hostilities are underway in the region, frequently causing damage to electrical equipment and power transmission lines. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
