DTEK restored power to more than 5,000 families in 8 settlements of the Donetsk region

On April 14, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have restored power to homes of more than 5,000 families. Power was completely or partially restored to 8 settlements in the Donetsk region. Energy company’s specialists are working non-stop for 51 days in a row and are doing everything possible in order to promptly restore power to settlements in the Donetsk region, affected by hostilities.

Over the course of the past 24 hours, energy workers have restored power to 8 settlements in Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts of the Donetsk region, despite active hostilities. Service was restored to 5,250 families

188 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is in Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut directions, where grids and substations are being constantly damaged due to active military activities. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces in order to perform repair of lines.

Energy workers cooperate with the AFU and continue performing emergency and restoration activities in the region, once the crews are enabled to safely perform them.
