DTEK restored power to 15,700 families in Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district of the Kyiv region

On March 30, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids emergency crews have completely or partially restored service to 48 settlements of Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district, left without electricity due to hostilities. Service is restored to 15,706 families. Emergency and restoration activities in the region continue, once the crews are enabled to safely perform them.

On March 30, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids electricians managed to completely or partially restore power to 48 settlements in Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district, left without electricity due to hostilities. In the course of the past 24 hours, DTEK electricians have restored power supply to 15,706 families in Kyiv region.

The company cooperates with the Territorial Defense Forces and Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to access damaged sites. DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.

Residents of 517 settlements in Kyiv region remain without electricity. The situation is complicated by active hostilities. Some settlements require restoration of power supply almost every day. For example, at 16:30 March 30, company’s electricians have repaired the line, damaged by shelling on March 25. It powers three settlements in Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district. The same day, at 23:57, this line was once again de-energized due to military activities. Emergency crews are now waiting for the AFU permit to conduct activities in order to restore service to families.

Overall, thirty emergency crews are working non-stop for 36 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities.
