DTEK restored power to 6,000 families in 2 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region

DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists managed to completely restore power to two settlements that suffered from night shelling in the Kryvyi Rih district. Service is restored to almost 6,000 families in the region.

During the night of April 21, a high-voltage line that supplies power to the town of Zelenodolsk and to the village Mala Kostromka in the Kryvyi Rih district was damaged by shelling. In two hours, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers together with their counterparts from DTEK Kryvorizka TPP have restored its operation by creating a redundant power circuit, thus restoring service to 5,985 families.

State of region’s electrical infrastructure remains stable.

Since the beginning of war, DTEK Dnipro Grids were transferred to the emergency response and restoration operating mode and are ready to promptly restore service in case of blackouts. Workers have specific guidelines related to working in emergencies and are provided with everything needed to restore operation of equipment in case of damage, caused by hostilities.
