DTEK restored power to almost 20,000 families in the Donetsk region yesterday

On May 30, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 23 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to almost 20,000 families. The energy company makes every effort to promptly restore power to the customers’ homes as soon as it becomes possible.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to 23 settlements in the Donetsk region that suffer from active hostilities, thus restoring electricity to homes of 19,836 families of Donetsk region residents in Bakhmut, Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk districts. The majority – in Bakhmut.

Hostilities are underway in the region. 321 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where shelling frequently causes damage to equipment and power lines. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
