DTEK restores power to the Donetsk region: on April 21, service was restored to 6,900 families

On April 21, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to homes of 6,900 families in the Donetsk region. Overall, energy workers have completely or partially restored power to 16 settlements in the Donetsk region, affected by hostilities.

Yesterday, despite active hostilities in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to residents of 16 settlements in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts. Service is restored to 6,980 families.

231 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka, where electrical equipment and power lines are being constantly damaged due to active hostilities. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
