DTEK brings back light: energy workers have restored electricity supply to 43,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of a week

Over the past week (March 6 through 12), DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to 43,000 families in 10 settlements, left without power supply due to shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Regular enemy attacks continue in the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing damage to the grids and leaving residents without electricity. Over the past week, DTEK energy workers have restored power to 42,870 families in 10 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Most of these territories have been repeatedly shelled by the enemy. So, some homes required restoration of electricity on dozens of occasions.

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews are doing everything possible to repair damage as soon as possible and commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Power is now fully restored to all affected districts.

Since the beginning of a full-scale war, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to 922,000 households overall.
