DTEK High Voltage Grids put to work a new high-voltage line connecting 110 kV Gorod-2 substation and Port 35 substation. Thus, more than 60,000 residents in the Primorsky District now have a far more stable and reliable power supply.

DTEK is a socially responsible company that serves the interests of Ukraine and consistently upgrades the energy infrastructure of the region, making it more efficient and environmentally friendly. The upgrade of this line has enhanced its reliability and improved the quality of power supply to 64,000 residents in the Primorsky District,” says Oleksii Degtyarev, DTEK High Voltage Grids CEO.

The old overhead line, which served for more than 60 years and exhausted its resource, was replaced with a cable line. The company laid 32 km of power cables into special reinforced concrete trays. Now they are reliably protected from mechanical damage.

The upgrade of the high-voltage line ensured a reliable and stable power supply to the following residential areas: Cheryomushki, Azovye, Moryakov, Morvokzal, Klinovaya and Zintseva Balka, Primorsky Boulevard, residents of Admiral Lunin Avenue, Flotskaya, Gagarin, Ushakov, General Latyshev, Novandorossiyskaya, Lavitschivsky streets.

DTEK is a reliable and conscious company; we take care of our customers and do everything to ensure that their homes always have light and comfort. In 2020, DTEK High Voltage Grids reconstructed the 110 kV overhead line named YuDV - Ugledar and a section of the 35 kV line named Annovka - Zolotoy Kolodetst both located in Donetsk Region. This significantly improved the energy supply to Uhledar, Novotroitskoye, the Dobropolsky District, pumping stations of the South Donbass water pipeline, which provide water to the south of Donetsk Region.
