Electricity is back for 77,200 families: in the course of a week, DTEK restored power to 85 settlements in Donetsk region
In the course of a week (March 21-27), DTEK Donetsk Grids electricians managed to partially restore power to 85 settlements in Toretsk, Marinka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman and Sloviansk districts, left without electricity due to hostilities. In the course of the past 24 hours, DTEK electricians have restored power to the 77,200 families in Donetsk region.
Since February 24, 2022, when the aggressor has launched a full-scale military assault on our country, DTEK emergency and restoration crews have restored service to 230,000 Ukrainian families in Donetsk region.
Residents of 181 settlements in Donetsk region remain without electricity. The situation is complicated by active hostilities. Thirty emergency crews are working non-stop for 33 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Donetsk region, affected by hostilities.
The company cooperates with the Territorial Defense Forces and Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to access damaged sites. DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.
