Electricity restored to more than 37,000 families: DTEK restored power to 37 settlements in the Donetsk region
During the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to 37 settlements, affected by hostilities, thus restoring power to 37,122 families in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts.
Most restorations were in the Kostyantynivka community – more than 26,000 families. Besides, almost every day for more than a week, energy workers, with permission from the military, are again and again repairing grids in the Toretsk community. Yesterday, electricity was again restored to more than 6,000 homes of residents of this frontline community that constantly suffer from shelling.
Hostilities are underway in the region, shelling continues, damaging grids and equipment. Therefore, we ask our customers to treat the situation with understanding.
323 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is in the areas of Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers have to wait for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to commence repairs.
